You’re a guest on a famous podcast. I’m listening
after reading my poetry in a large auditorium.
The host asks about my work; you respond,
It’s all fictional. The podcast studio
is gold and bright, an array of audio equipment
in sight. You sit with the host on the same side
of a desk. You tell the host,
I will be filing defamation charges.
My body no longer holds your DNA.
